Begin preheating the pan on low heat.
First combine the 1 cup of flour, 1/2 tsp baking soda, and 1 tsp baking powder in a bowl. Once mixed set aside.
Next, mix the remaining wet ingredients together; 1/2 cup of sourdough starter discard, 1 egg, 1 tbsp maple syrup, 1 tbsp melted butter, 3/4 cup of milk, 1 tsp vanilla extract.
Now add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients until it is completely mixed.
After you have the pancake batter mixed begin by scooping 1/4 C. of batter into the pan.
Let the batter sit until it begins to bubble. Once it bubbles you can flip it and cook it on the other side for an additional 1-2 minutes.
Now that the sourdough pancakes are cooked remove them from the pan and enjoy!
