Prep Time 20 minutes
Cook Time 8 minutes
Servings 3 dozen

Ingredients

  • 2 sticks Butter softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup light brown sugar packed
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 box instant vanilla pudding 3.9 oz
  • 1 bag milk chocolate chips

Instructions

  • First, leave the butter out on the counter to soften enough to mix. (My favorite butter is the Land O'Lakes unsalted)
  • After butter is soft, mix butter with sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla
  • Mix all the dry ingredients (flour, baking soda & pudding mix) into a seperate bowl
  • Once the soft indgredients are mixed begin slowly adding drying ingredients
  • Lastly, mix in the chocolate chips
  • Now is when I preheat the oven to 375
  • Now that the cookie dough is prepared I like to put it in the refrigerator to help it get a bit more firm and less sticky
  • Once you can handle the dough without it sticking to your hands you can begin rolling the dough into little balls, or use a scoop to place little dollops of dough on the backing sheet
  • I like to use my stone baking sheets when I bake these cookies, so I begin placing the balls on my preheated stone cookie sheet
  • Bake the cookies for 8-10 min depending on how brown you like your cookie to be
