Minimal & Beautiful Easter Tablescape with Blue and White

Setting a table for everyday life can be hard, which is why I’m going to share how to style a beautiful Easter tablescape for everyday living.

What makes a good “practical” tablescape?

If you’ve been following along over here you know I LOVE a good tablescape.

But you also probably know that I’m not opposed to switching things up as far as the table decor is concerned.

One of my favorite ways to set a table is with the centerpiece “off-center”.

(I wonder, does this mean it’s not actually a centerpiece anymore haha!)

Anyway, I shared a tablescape like this when I decorated this apple tablescape.

The truth is when you’re looking for tablescape ideas for every day this is probably the most practical way to do it.

I often have my table decorated with something and almost every time the “centerpiece” gets pushed off to the side of the table to make room for the dinnerware and food.

So I’m going to lean into that style of centerpiece more often over here.

I’m all about practical and functional with little kids running around and an off-center centerpiece fits the bill!

Okay, let’s get into this beautiful Easter tablescape you can leave up for weeks!

Beautiful Easter Tablescape : Centerpiece

As we just talked about, this is a simple centerpiece that can be shifted with ease.

The girls are generally the ones helping me set the table every night for dinner and this makes it so nice.

I can trust that they aren’t going to struggle to move it, and it isn’t going to take forever to move it out of the way and then put it all back into place again.

That is by far the worst part of some tablescapes.

They are gorgeous, don’t get me wrong, but they are a one-and-done kind of deal.

You put them together for a special event or evening and then when the evening is over, all the extra is put away.

This Summer tablescape I did was gorgeous, and we LOVED it.

But it isn’t a tablescape I could easily leave up for weeks on end.

So a simple crock full of beautiful Spring stems is the perfect centerpiece.

Beautiful Easter Tablescape : Linens

For this Easter tablescape, I decided to use simple napkins.

They are a beautiful white with details in the stitching and the fray around the edge.

I found them at my sweet friend’s home decor shop and I ABSOLUTELY love them!

Using a linen napkin adds a softness to the tablescape.

Beautiful Easter Tablescape : Glassware & Dishes

This is one of my new favorite parts of setting a table like this.

I leave a handful of dishes on the table.

Now that the girls are helping me with dinner and setting the table for dinner this makes it so easy!

They just spread the plates out on the table in all our spots.

I can be pulling things out of the oven and not have to think twice about it.

They don’t need to bring a chair into the kitchen to grab plates off the shelves or ask me to grab them.

What we all love about these dishes specifically is that little detail around the edge.

They are overall very simple, but the little circles around the edge of the plate feel like Spring to me, and they are the girls’ favorite plates right now haha!

I picked them up at a local thrift store and I’m so glad I did!

The glassware is old depression glass that has been handed down to me from my great-grandma.

I pull them out every Spring and Summer because they also feel like Spring and Summer to me.

Not to mention the sentimental value they have for me.

My favorite memory with these glasses was sharing rootbeer floats with the girl’s last Summer!

Beautiful Easter Tablescape : Easter Touches

The two Easter touches that I added to this tablescape are very simple and maybe even subtle.

I added a metal lamb cake mold that I picked up at a local vintage store.

We believe in Jesus and we believe that he was the lamb of God.

So when I put this table together I removed our bible verse memory cards and added the lamb.

It’s a little thing, but a strong reminder to keep the main thing the main thing.

Sometimes when I go about my day I can overlook all the little moments and blessings God has given me.

But in the evening when we sit down to eat a meal, I’m always reminded.

No matter how difficult the day has been or the journey ahead looks, there is always Jesus.

The second Easter touch that I added to this beautiful Easter tablescape is the little blue duck.

Again, I pull this little guy out every Spring.

He is the keeper of all the dandelions the girls bring me.

The best part is that I used to be the little girl picking dandelions for my grammy and this is where she would display them.

How to set a minimal & beautiful Easter tablescape

Step 1.

Add linen for the base of the tablescape

Step 2.

Add a vessel full of stems

Step 3.

Add dinnerware of your choice

Step 4.

Add the Easter touches that speak to you most

A tablescape with heart

If you’ve made it this far, then you know, this tablescape is more than a beautiful Easter tablescape.

It’s a reminder.

This reminder is literally filled with only thrifted, vintage, and heirloom pieces.

I went out and bought the stems (mostly because I was craving something that looked a little bit more like my favorite statement arrangements right now), but that’s it.

So, I know you could create a tablescape that has the same amount of heart and meaning for your home.

Just add a few sentimental and simple pieces to it and before you know it you’ll have a minimal and beautiful Easter tablescape ready for your Easter celebrations.
