Welcome Home Saturday | Weekly Home Decor Digest

This week I’m so honored to be joining some wonderful ladies for their weekly home decor digest. These girls are all truly wonderful and if you’ve never stopped by I encourage you to do so. They are absolute gems and such dear friends.

I want to say a special thank you to Kelly with The Tattered Pew for organizing this series and inviting me to be a guest this week. It’s always an honor to spend the weekend with these awesome ladies.

If this is your first time visiting Open Doors Open Hearts I want you to know how honored I am that you’re here. I love having you. So thank you!

At Open Doors Open Hearts, I believe that if you’re brave enough to open your doors to those around you, you’ll be blessed by hearts opening around you. I hope you enjoy stepping through our doors as much as I enjoy showing you around!

Tomorrow is Easter!

Can you believe it? Did it sneak up on you like it did me? I’m over here still getting things together. I think I have everything that I need, it’s just a matter of getting everything done before Sunday.

The girls are so excited! They were running around yesterday in the dresses they want to wear to Church for Easter. These are beautiful dresses, but they aren’t new or anything. Just some pretty dresses from the closet.

AND THEY LOVED THEM!! I had to fight them to take them off before they got them dirty.

While all this would generally be GREAT I heard a rumor that the Easter bunny is bringing the girls matching dresses for Easter tomorrow!!

I’ll let you know which dresses they end up choosing haha! I’m guessing we might be in need of a dressing room so we can change halfway through the day.

But we’ll see!

Keeping Focused

I know I should keep my gaze upon Christ all 365 days of the year. But there is something about Easter that just makes me want to be EXTRA intentional about it.

Life has been feeling a little bit more scattered than normal.

Staying awake later than I should, which leads to sleeping in later than I should. Then I’m more tired than usual.

You know that cycle. We’ve all been there.

Well, with all that scatter & exhaustion comes a feeling on not being as close to Christ as I’d like. So I decided to be extra intentional with my home decor for Easter.

Recently, I shared a Spring Home Tour. If you didn’t see it, I encourage you to stop by and take a peek. I shared the different ways I tried to incorporate little reminders of Christ around my house. One of my favorites is this little sign I created with the help of a sweet friend of mine.

It reminds me of all the wonderful things I have to be grateful for in my life.

My girls

All of the little fingers and toes are gifts from God. Even though they are quite messy, loud, fussy, and generally impatient sometimes.

My husband

The strong hand I get to hold each night before bed that always pushes me and supports me as I work to reach my dreams.

Jesus

The arms that were spread open wide so many years ago so that I could spend eternity with Him.

Happy Easter!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Don’t forget to follow along on PinterestFacebook, and Instagram! Also, sign up to be apart of our newsletter so you never miss a post! Have a great week! XoXo
