How to Add a DIY Wooden Peg Rail

Measure & cut rails

Decide how long you want the rail to be and how many pegs you want it to have. Then space the pegs evenly across the board Learn more

Drill holes for pegs

After you have evenly marked the location of the pegs begin drilling holes big enough to fit the peg Learn more

Glue pegs to rail

Add a little bit of wood glue to each hole and the back of each peg and then push the peg into the hole. Learn more

Secure peg rail to shelf

After the paint dries you are ready to screw the rail to the shelf. We used our 90* drill attachment for this. Learn more
