Garden Picnic Mother's Day

Open Doors Open Hearts

Mother’s Day is right around the corner, and I’m so excited to share these fun backyard Mother’s Day picnic ideas with you!

First select a table. I chose the pallet table we use for all our garden picnics.

Next choose a table cloth. It adds a textile element for enhanced beauty and it reminds mom that on her day we aren't going to skip any detail.

Now it's time to add flowers. I put them in baskets and bottles, but any vessel would work. My personal favorites are buckets, baskets, mason jars, and crocks.

Now you can begin adding your glassware. I added a charcuterie board for this picnic, but whatever picnic food the Mom in your life loves will be equally beautiful.

The last step to preparing a beautiful Mother's Day picnic  is to add the food.

If you go the charcuterie board route begin by setting the glass bowls, then sprinkle the rest around the board in little clusters until it looks balanced.

In our family we are morning people. So I created a breakfast charcuterie board full of fruit, eggs and cinnamon rolls.

Now it's time to enjoy the Mother's Day garden picnic! Celebrating Mom doesn't have to be expensive.
