DIY Faux Plant

It doesn’t take very much time to realize I’m a fan of BIG plants in our home. But during the cold months, my only option is faux plants. Which is why I decided to make this beautiful DIY artificial plant.

First find a tree limb that is ready to be pruned, and cut it. We cut 2 branches.

Next mix concrete in a small bucket. The concrete will hold the limbs and be heavy so the DIY plant doesn't fall over

Next put limbs in the concrete while it sets. I had to prop my limbs and tie string on them to get them to stay the way I wanted them

After the concrete is set put hot glue on artificial leaves. This whole DIY faux plant only needed 6 stems from Hobby Lobby!

Push leaves onto the small new growth on the branches you pruned. You might need to cut some of the small growths a little to get the look you want.

Add the leaves all over the branches making sure the branches have leaves on all sides.
