Cottage Style Coffee Table Decorating Ideas

Decorating a coffee table with cottage style doesn't have to be expensive. I styled my coffee table 6 different ways; the most expensive was $11.50. Click the link below for more details.

Idea 1

In this option, I added extra height by putting the vase of flowers on top of books. It's a good Summer transition style with some darker pieces and the clear vase.

Idea 2

This is a very similar style to the first one, but with lighter and brighter items. Perfect for a Spring or Summer coffee table.

Idea 3

This is one of my go-to styles for any season. It's very simple and minimal and I love that. A vase of foraged flowers, a stack of books with something set on top.

Idea 4

I love styling our coffee table with candles and books. They are my typical decor items. Different books, and candles, but always books and candles.

Idea 5

If you don't have a platter or a basket use large books to create a foundation for smaller items. It makes the coffee table feel less cluttered.

Idea 6

Coordinate the items you're decorating with. This styling has a Fall feel because of all the darker and cozier pieces. (This vase is a $2 DIY!)
